• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have updated my site (still a work in progress) but want to add a user review section. Bikes of any brand, gear, tools, ride reports, or any good bike related articles. I would love to have people submit content for this and make it a wealth of knowledge for all to glean info from. Do you like to write? Got some good pix? Want to contribute. If so please Email me.

I just looked at the new site and it looks really slick and professional... Are you doing the work on it?

looks good mate. hate to be picky but a few spelling/grammar mistakes I noticed(please only take this as constructive criticism-just not quite the most professional it could be-I noticed it so others will too. again constructive criticism, not shitcanning ya mate:cheers: ). is the rest of your gear ie sprockets, brake pads, bearings etc still available? different site? do you make a damper for the 13 fe450 bergs Kelly or do ktm ones fit? a mate was asking me about steering dampers the other day(I have an msc-OZ made-on my 300) & mentioned yours as another mate has one on his gasser & likes it/looks good. reckon I mite get one of yours for my 125/soon to be 165!

Still lots of work to do on the site. Thanks.

- Yes we sell dampers for Bergs.

what happened to the disk guards, radiator guards and all the misc stuff on your site?

The rotor guards will be back on there. A while back I felt like I was spending way to much time on maintenance parts and getting away from the development and CNC parts and wanted to get back to that. I told partner Maike I wanted to get back to concentrating on the CNC parts and he could have the sourced parts biz. So no misc stuff on my sight any more. CNC parts, 165 kit, Lectron tires, JD stuff, Trailtech stuff is all I do now. Basically CNC parts and other manufacturers offerings that I like, use and endorse.

If you would send me a bike with all the stuff on it that you would like reviewed, i would be more than willing to spend some time riding it, then doing a thorough write up on each item :-)

Ditto!

I'll give each and every part a thorough flogging and honest writeup!
