• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Looking for a spanking 125 2stroke

juicypips

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Right ive been eyeing up a tm en 125.
Im quite keen on a new bike for a few reasons and im after small bore so my lady can hop on but would also like to thrape the ass off it.

Not keen on ktm's maybe husky still look like ktm too me.
Beta dont do a 125rr sadly
I dont mind jap but prefer the oddballs
Anyone got other suggestions.

The TE125 is a better bet, than the EN125, if you want a bike that's easy for your lady. Dirt Bike Mag said it was better down low, than a TM EN144. You can still ride the TE125 like you stole it, in the mid-top range!

Yeah its a bit of a tough nut as im asking it to cover all bases really.
Not keen on parimiter frames either but the tm looks good will need to blag a ride next time i see one.

Robertaccio wich local dealer, gp motorcycles? As a road trip isnt out of the question if the price is right.
Channel tunnel £80-120 fuel 1000miles = £120 so a saving of £200+ would be fine plus i could ride those sick trails you ride.

GG humm didnt think of that.
Seat height on husky Te125 is 960mm whoowa im a dwarf that will need to be lowered.

Ahahaaa your right just clocked his location for some reason i thought he was in spain pmsl too early lol.

Lol still laughing, gg125's stoped in 2015.
Was really after something a rock apes not been inside and trashed as sofar every bike ive owned has been 2nd hand and required work .

Worked it out, robberto is in europe an roberaccio is in ca. Lol
My bad mis read the handles.

GG back in production but dunno bout the 125. Think they use a yz125 motor or similar design so be good donk in it. I know they have started production on 200/250/300. Ec200r be nice too but 125s the go for light bike feel. New bikes rule-smell good, look pretty n unmolested!

Why not a YZ? Price is right and so many parts and kits you can make it do whatever you want.

They are all tall now... '15 GG EC125 is as tall as anything. Low GG bikes ended with '11 models. 125 EXC is probably the tallest of the lot....

Yamaha could be a plan thats how i ended up with wrf250 that im re-building should of listend too my inner voice shouting its not a two stroke.
Should be a good commuter im hoping.
Yz's unchanged for soo long is ther a better year or you thinking just buy a brand new one?

Spanking new! if you can, I say. Seems that's the way you were heading a few posts ago. I think only plastic changed last year, there were some other upgrades a few years back I think. Big change was 10 years ago with the perimeter frame.

Yeah am heading spanking new route and 2 pop
Issue is the yz'ds are mx bikes and the suspensions valved different also power delivery will be setup wrong for enduro or is that a cheap simple mod im missing?

Yz125 is 992mm seat height from memory. Taller than husky!

Do u need it rego'd juicy? Only reason I suggested GG as true enduro n homologated or what the hell ever u call it over there for road use eh?
Yz with FWW, longer silencer, different gearing maybe Pv/comp/timing adjusted be sweet. Bigger tank n good to go. 2015 they got the bigger ti pegs, bigger front disc, new plastics n some other small things I think.

Best susp in town too....apparently. 144 kit n ya golden!

Shame beta don't do a 125. 930mm seat height be lowest out there I'd have thought

YZ125 is actually a pretty decent woods bike out of the box, and make good low end power. Not a big fan of jap bikes, but it would probably be my choice if I had to buy a new 125

Its a grand cheaper than anything else... So could get suspension setup for the saved dollar.
Lower links are available and 992mm seat height! Just who actuall are they selling too i mean the Japanese arnt giants are they?
With lower link and seat cut down my bike sits at 895mm so thats a full 4" lower than a yz???? Madness.
