  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc Looking for a pipe

sned2502st

Husqvarna
AA Class
I am looking for a good condition pipe. Stock or aftermarket, doesnt have to be new, just not a dented piece of crap. I have a 2011 WR250. Anybody got something you want to get rid of?

Fmf, dyno port may be your best bet, yours just smashed to hell? You can get a dent blower for £20 just pressurise the pipe and heat up dents to blow it back to almost std.

I have a lightly used with minor dents FMF Gnarly available.

shrubitup, how much do you want for them? I got to consider shipping cost also, let me know what you are thinking. Either one or both.

juicy, I made a set of plugs to get out the dents. Works good, I have bent it out of shape now and I am having a hard time getting it to sit flat against the cylinder.

Yeah thats why i went fmf i had bent pipe so much it took no impact to bend yes i could blow it out and weld plates to strengthen but i wanted a gnarly more!

the gnarly is a step thicker in certain areas to resist denting, so it should resist it a bit more

$75 for lightly dented Gnarly. Shipping to Illinois is $35.

Fmf took good smash second ride no harder than usual i would say a tad stronger but it was new, pipe weighs more but that could be the chrome.
185 shipped? Not bad.
How much is a new one?

I think new OEM is $275 which may or may not include shipping fees depending on vendor. New FMF is $249 which is typically shipped free.

If it is brand new condition, $185 sounds reasonable. As soon as I can I will get back with you and if you still have it we can work out the details. Holidays have cleaned me out, and I just had to buy a new car, so it may take me a few weeks. Thanks Jeff

EDIT: both pipes have sold now
