• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Look what I found.

nicely farkled fersure. reckluse, rocstokmpa pegs, silicone hoses, IMS, luggage rack..... blah blah... that's a fair chunk of change.

A little over the top with his oil changes IMO. 5X in 675 miles, geez

Check this out...2008 TE 310 - $6299!

"This is the ultimate bike for the PNW! A 2008 Husky TE250 with the 300 Athena kit professionally installed by Tasky's Metric Cycle. Bike was purchased new with the kit already installed. As part of the deal you get the original cylinder should you want to go back to a 250. Bike has the power up kit installed and comes with the original rear tire still brand new. I had the shop put a trials tire on before I picked the bike up. Too many Saturdays at work have allowed me only three rides since buying the bike last May. Total mileage is right around 250. The bike is of course street legal and with EFI there is no need to jet for altitude. A fuel injected 300 four stroke is perfect for the woods and if work settles down, I'll buy a 2009. But for now I can't afford to have such a nice bike just sitting around. I did cut the seat down to lower the bike a bit as seen in the attached photo. (425) 241-6858. Greg"
