  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I use my huskies as fun/race enduro bikes [specialist bikes] i have a ccm r30 supermoto with a Suzuki engine as my every day work horse at 29,000miles

Im close to buying a 310!

Because the bike is specialist bored and light will that mean more servicing and less longevity?

I've not heard any longevity reports... the old 250/310 was really durable (for a small bore).. but that really doesn't help.

I won't be treating them that hard but I do race Enduro every other weekend. I'll get to play practice during the week also. Stop pies wheelies. Repitition of bike skill practice practice. Usually 2 midweek mx track days also!
It's going to get some use! I love it. I teach yoga and I ride using the principles of yoga!
I rode the dawn to dusk 12 hour Enduro in Wales uk last month on my wr.
Core balance focus relaxation posture selfabsorbtion! I can't remember much of the first 6 -7 hours
Was awsum! Best thing I've ever done

Someone here posted about their X-lite TE310 which had done about 5,000 miles (may have even been 6,000?) with no real problems and provided a link to an on going report but I can't find it ATM.

I believe they are a good thing

The 310 will be a great bike for what you want to use it for. A friend of mine just blew his apart after 3000 miles, he is a dummy and rides..uuh...rode it on the freeway as a commuter in the Bay Area. Anybody need parts?
