• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Due diligence will be needed ie do your parts look up and get the P/N of the part. then it can be accessed accordingly. along with whole assembly stuff like engines chassis components etc
CH Racing will be cataloging and posting on line their extensive inventory of red husky parts in the following months....how do I know? how does a goon from cafe husky know this you ask???.... because CH Racing boss (azza) told me directly. So gather up all your requirements and maybe we can form a direct conduit to access red husky parts from the former factory race team warehouse.

Boss man Azza (Fabrizio Azzulin) and CH Racing has been a good source for some race and non-current parts, even when they were still the Factory Husky Race Team. This will be a great resource!

For Norm and others and posted here along with word from EU comes in that some of the new SWM dealers (former Red Husky dealers) over there have already compiled data and created parts cross reference spread sheets for their customers. So someone is already doing/did the homework or at least a portion of it. Without seeing it I would bet the P/Ns are the same or very close, it would be a waste of time/money not smart biz move to renumber all the parts that already have assigned (husky P/Ns). Perhaps an add on number to make it different ... but that's about it.

Rob, is correct changing part numbers would cut out potential built in parts customers as well a potential new bike sale in the future.
