• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Who's got a Leatt Adventure? Are you happy with it? I've been using a EVS RC-EVO for the past few years and am now changing to the Leatt Adventure. I've been wearing the EVO without the neck ring because even with the shims removed I had limited neck mobility. I'm 5'6" 190 lbs 18 1/2" neck. What can I expect with the Leatt Adventure? The customer service person at Leatt said get the medium with the large pin and the -5 thoracic. Sound about right? Well it'll be here this Tuesday.

i like mine a lot, but it doesn't fit perfectly with my 661 pressure suit (even wearing it in the proper configuration, the back rides up about 1/2", which means i'm always pushing the brace back down with my helmet a bit - no big deal, but more irritating than it needs to be)... i'm seriously considering swapping out the pressure suit for something that fits better with the brace... i guess that speaks volumes for what i think of the brace though, eh?

Leatt Adventure vs. Club

Probably a little late, but you may want to exchange for the Leatt Moto GPX Club since it has an adjustable head range of motion. It has saved me from potential catastrophic injuriy more times than I wish on the track, but can seem a little restricting when going slow in technical sections and woods.
