• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

OK It is that time again for Last Dog Standing at Glen Helen

Who is going to give it a try??? First loop is easy. If you make that then on to loop 2, much harder.

As for loop 3 only about 6 pros will finish that. BUT what the heck you can say I tried loop 1 and then watch some of the best in the world give it a go.

Got Huskynoobee going to give it a try So who else will come check it out

The 250 is geared down with fresh trans oil and a fresh ZipTy suspension service and a new heavier for my fat ass rear spring.

GP season and desert are on break, so there's lots of racers with nothing to do next weekend.

I'm bringing out the toy hauler with plenty of gas to keep the A/C running and drinking water starting today. I hope to get as far as I can in LD2.

The real threat is for the guys racing the 10 hour Sunday.

I was on that list for the 10 hour.....I declined due to Fathers day commitments.........also looming over that decision was the threat of above 100 degree daytime temps, hard to adjust for that without at least a little bit of acclimatizing.

Well I finally got a copy of the results last night and YES My Husky TE 300 won We won the over 50 class Started the LDS 2 race on the 35 line side by side 2 at a time so that would be the 70th bike off the line
At check 4 with insight of the finish I was told I hour out to move on to round 3 BUT I was the 22 bike to make check 4. I was so happy to have had my best finish in the 6 years I have done this race .There were only 15 guys of which 14 were pros that moved on to Rd 3 of which only 2 finishing in time
Cody Webb, Cory Graftfinder

Bottom line is I purchased a new 2016 TE 300 and Finished King of the Moto in the expert class and Won my class at Last Dog Standing Thank You Husky your TE 300 gave this old man a chance to finish 2 of the hardest races around
