• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Knight to Race Italian WEC GP on a 300cc KTM E3

robertaccio

Husqvarna
Pro Class
"Indeed, David KNIGHT will enter the Grand Prix Acerbis of Italy with a KTM 300cc 2 stroke and the Number 10. Knighter.net is back for one Grand Prix and no doubt he can target a win in Lumezzane!
When we announced the news to Iván Cervantes #25 (Oficial), the Spanish told us: "It can be great for me in my mission to comeback closer on Matthew Phillips Off-Road Racing!"
No doubt, the E3 class will be once again super exciting this weekend"

quoted from the ABC WEC website.
Seems El Torito Ivan is happy to have Knighter as an E3 spoiler to combat Matt Phillips strong run at the championship.

they said #10 like thats his special number, but his chosen number is 101 isnt it?

Truth is Matt Phillips is on a tear and Ivan seemed happy to have big Dave as a spoiler to also work on Matt......but its racing, what if Dave comes in second behind Matt----Ivan 3rd, thats a real spoiler for Ivan. I guess the only spoiler is if Dave's times push Matt more into mistake territory?? Now I really dont know why Ivan is happy to have Knighter back after all that stat talk.

Bad news is CH Racing Sherco teamster Matti Seistola, will not be riding his 300 2T in E3. He sustained a bad cheek and jaw injury in a practice session.

Knighter is a great rider, matty Philips and Johnny walker are the future at this stage, matty is such a smooth rider, ktm buy all the good riders.....eventually.

It's funny how Sherco wanted to do world enduro next year and parted with David and now David is racing world enduro again. I think its the best place for him due to his speed - vs. say Jarvis, Tandy, walker

that freakin Taddy.....amazed me again, I remember his ST times at an event from a few years back were money. Big Dave has been away from the action, those tables turn fast at the tip of the spear. Hats off to the new guard Matt Phillips (kind of big too right?), hes is game on full gassss.

Interesting that it looks like the local authorities, made teams run full size motorcycle registration number plates. Usually they run little postage stamp versions, under the taillight.

If Cervantes wins both days in France (2 times 20 points). Phillips must place no lower than 3rd on both days (2 times 15) to win the championship.
