• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone using this oil?

I have a quart to try and am curious if anyone else is running it.

How clean is it if you aren't on the pipe constantly.

ive run the super techniplate which is the same as what you have but is 20% benol castor added...the plain techniplate should be a clean good oil. ive run the super for years and its fairly clean.
as usual, the accuracy of your jetting will greatly help determine spooging and buildup..

Klotz= another high quality oil blender/producer of high performance oils. I can't imagine you can wrong with one of their products. I have never used their line.
Suggestion contact Klotz and ask tech questions, I'm sure they are very accessible for customer service/tech info.

I'm a Maxima user now mostly due to the fact that they are a local company and it's easy to access their tech line.
All these companies create good high specification overkill moto products, Klotz, Amsoil, Maxima, Spectro, BelRay, Motul, etc etc

I've used it and it's very good... just like every other modern oil I've used in the past 20 years. Can't think of a "bad" oil, actually.

The modern oils are so good that engine protection is not my concern. I typically choose one by how it smells. Some are annoying and some are yummy. The Klutz oils are yummy.

I ran Klotz for years, and found the Techniplates ran cleaner than R-50. All smelled good. But it really only matters to the guy who's behind you.
