• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ken Roczen Injury – Stress Fracture in Spine

Not sure what that means but his camp is saying this is an old injury that happened somewhere in his early days and just showed up during the last few days .... His camp certainly down-played all this ...

Roczen also seems to have had his confidence ripped from him. Blasted to the top of the heap and then folded like a cheap kite. Once Tomac and Dungey started coming around him and were obviously faster he lost a lot of speed and apparent confidence. Just my observation.

Kinda got that impression too.

"Blasted to the top of the heap and then folded like a cheap kite."

That's some funny shite- good one MotoSportz

I'd give him a little more slack than that. Injuries suck, pain sucks, and these guys deal with this all the time. He looked good in Colorado.

X2
In addition I noticed there never appeared to be a humble bone in his body, unlike ET and RD.

I'm also very surprised at how much trouble he has had this season. It could be very tough for him to ever make it to the top again. Tomac and Dungey are looking good.

His slow start to the MX season was a surprise to me also but not a shocker ... Seen it numerous times where injuries are hidden from public consumption on these riders..

After seeing this young man race and whip 450 guys on a 250( 1 of 3 riders to do this that I know of) in the MXoN a few yrs back(012?), he won a 250cc championship in the states, then stepped up to the 450s and won the 450 MX title last yr ...He's battled ET3 most of his career.

I have to believe he was hurt ...After reading so many interviews from riders who say they are scared at time out there, there is fear in all of them.. Champions over come everything in the way to the championship. This rider is a champion....

We are on race week 4 next week guys.. Last weeks results at Thunder Valley below.

He had the second moto won till the flat tire.

Here's the point race now and drop Eli from the pic... KR94 is 35 points off the pace of RD5 ... Can he pass RD5 in points? RD5 is about the fastest, most consistent rider out there today ... It's almost gonna take some bad luck on his part for KR to catch him. In any event, the racing is on.

I'm thinking getting used to the new SUZ ride is giving him issues also ....
