• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

What a suprise to put a face to a forum name-- ::)
Jughead and his wife came over to this side of South Africa on Saturday from Port Elizabeth Saturday and as any true biker--brought his riding gear with--
Well i only had one bike to loan him as the third was still in the crate and the DR 200 would just not cut it for him as far as i was concerned :peepwall: Was planning on a quick run on Sunday --alone --but i spread the word on Friday and was at least able to get Tank Girl and Dakota to join --as for the others who could not make it --you missed out on a great little ride :mwink:

Decided as the girls are pretty compitent nowdays we would just do a Railway track run with some single track of about 160km-
Dakota dropping off into the tall grass --

And then the little yellow Bumble bee appears again -- ::)

On the single track i found the Dam wall had broken and things were just as i liked them :mwink:



And as for TG --A storm in a tea cup --or is that --Mud Pool :peepwall:

After nearly getting stuck in this i decided to route everyone arround --Hell i still had to wash my two bikes afterwards ::) But it could have made for some interesting pictures --

I will assume these are members of another forum? Some of the smilie code looks a bit out of place, and I'm not sure I remember the other names.

The codes makes no difference to me, I was simply curious :)

Thank's ghte ---great to have some positive replies from overseas --whenever any of you guy's and gals are here in SA --I have spare Huskies and we ride whole year through --contact me and even come and stay over at my place
