• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

JG33 is still ticking ...

Is CR22 finished? Not sure but after his last crash in SX and his recovery time during the outdoors, he has to have that on his mind ... Like it or not, say what you want, we all get old and either quit or will be forced to quit ... You might have missed it, but Jackie Chan said he is old and not gonna do his same stunts any more ...

With all that in mind, Reed raced very well last yr in the SX stuff in CA where the season always starts in JAN. He tried to make a move on KR94 towards the end of a race, clipped him, and season ~over for him ...

I can see him collecting a few more paychecks in the saddle for these opening CA races...maybe more, maybe less <-- somewhat a (micro) WAG here.

It would be nice if Grant could make through the season without getting hurt
He most known for his injuries. Hope he can keep it together for the whole season. Maybe the change of team & bike is just what he needs.

Maybe on the team change and he did win the 1st MX race this yr so he must have some juice left... He's with that other older and team owner guy so maybe they can come up with some ideas that help them both. Plus the green bikes look like the bike to be on at the PRO level (to me) ... His rookie season was 2004 so time is not on his side ...
