  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Jd power surge

Husqvarna
AA Class
Just got the power surge for my 2013 te449 but I can't for the life of me find the wire it plugs into. Are they interchangeable for all models of the te449? I thought I found the wire but the clip doesn't fit into it anyone do the install on the 2013 model?

When you do get it hooked up, don't go to lean. Let us know how you like it. Mine is just race map 2 and a FMF
Powercore with quietcore insert. Plan on powercommander 5 after she is broken in good. Runs goods as is.

I will def let you know once I figure this out

Did you find it I came in from the right hand side undid every plug in there the one you are looking for is part of the throttle body I also pulled the breather hose out a bit and tucked it into something good luck

I found it but after connecting it the bike ran awful. very lean and would choke when giving it gas, idling extremely high and hot, played with the settings and nothing, couldnt get it right, also the dash read fail. I disconnected everything and still ran the same way with dash reading fail so I brought it to my local dealer (couldnt even ride it) Im picking it up tm so hopefully they got it right. They mentioned they had to do something with the computer and some other things, I only spoke to them briefly, Ill find out when I pick it up I guess

I found it hard to find as well, the instructions I had were a little misleading though made sense when I did finally find it :banghead: . Have you tried the TPS Reset at all and have you installed the jumper for Race Map 2?

I'll put this picture up, hopefully will help other's to find the connector.

Yup did tps reset and had the jumper installed. Dealer also said something about the screws on the throttle body being out of whack which I did not touch. I never worked on bikes b4 but I could tell something was not right, since I didn't do anything except simply plug in the tuner, jumper wire and tps reset. Ill leave it to the pros to fix and tell me what went wrong
