• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

After the blow up on the MX2 racing team ...Not sure what is going on with any Husky MX racing but here are some cool Husqvarna pics to go with a Husky on the podium .... In any event, this race is part of Husky history ...

I certainly wish this young man and the Husky racing team good luck in the future...

After the ill-fated European GP, the riders returned to the Marches track to prepare for the last race of the MX2 World Championship in Teutschenthal. The penultimate round of the Italian Motocross championship was held in San Severino Marche (MC)and Ivo Monticelli took the opportunity to participate in the race organized by his club the Moto Club Settempedano.

After the fall of the second heat the European Grand Prix held in Faenza last week, Ivo could not train regularly because of injuries reported (six stitches the chin and lower lip). After certify "green light" by the doctors, Monticelli decided to join the race as training session for the next GP in Germany.

At the end of the day, Ivo finished on the third step of the podium, having battled long for the victory of the two heats. A slip in the last steps of the second heat destroyed the chances of victory and put him into the overall second place.

Ivo Monticelli: "After the" bang "of Faenza I did not train with the bike until today, but I wanted to continue the training for the next race. I'm happy with how I found back in the saddle, I thought I would have more problems but the aftermaths of my crash are disappearing. In the two heats I tried to ride as smooth as possible by trying not to overdo it. My speed was not great but it was a good training. The crash in the second heat was happened when I tried to attack for the win, but unfortunately I lost the second place overall. It was still a positive day, I had a good feeling and we were able to work on setting of the bike for Teutschenthal. During the next week I will try to train again, to have a good race in Germany and close the World Championship with a very good result. "

The World Motocross Championship moves to Teutschenthal in Germany, where on Sunday, September 23, the Last GP of the season 2012 will be held.
