• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Its hot down under!

mercury just passed 104 degrees f here for all you poor freezing baskets on the other side of the world. wind is a stiff northerly blowing blast furnace air at 20+ mph. (note my conversion of the metric (correct) measurement units to the older antiquated measurements of cubits and roods...):D

just waiting for some numbnuts to decide to mow the paddock (had to advise the neighbor that wasnt on this morning) or use a grinder, despite extensive media coverage of the fire danger, and burn us out.....could be worse...car could be frozen solid in a flood! love the weather:rolleyes:

opposite for us right now in the eastern part of the states..been in the single digits and teens for what feels like weeks..

i guess the ice is just melting in Canberra AJ... has just cracked 107 degrees here in front of the expected cool change....

Yes the swimming pool has thawed enough for a swim at 36c, might do that a bit later, with a beer of course!

Busy ripping the engine out of the 250 while it's still cool enough! Disregard green bottle......IMG20180106161910.jpg

cool change has hit at 7.45, temp was 42.4 Celcius, now at 7.55 its 35 and plummeting (thank christ!) now i can go outside for a beer without it steaming off before i get a sip:eek:

It’s going below “0” Fahrenheit tonight. Just a little frosty. We had a foot of snow the day before. Three months to go unless global warming might kick in with 100 degrees.

I didn’t check the anti freeze in my air cooled bike? Lol

I wonder if they put the data from Amerika in the Global Warming temp charts ?
Surely -32 offsets +32 so therefore the Worldwide average temp today is 0.
