• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

That DuVall injured wrist- 1st special first day we are no longer in competition for a repeat to win the Trophy. Sipes and Robert can let it hang out now to go for the individual overall.

That's a bummer. Oh, well we can still root the ladies and junior teams on. And don't forget the local club teams that qualified.

It is with heavy hearts we learn of the death of British rider Michael Alty during the opening day of racing at this year’s International Six Days Enduro in France.

Michael Alty of the Sheep Skull Enduro Riders Club Team sadly died at the end of day one. He was competing in the Club C2 category, aged 50.

Michael was clearly a person who lived life to the full and enduro was a major part of that too.

Everyone at enduro21.com offer their deepest condolences to Michael’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

The FIM issued the following statement…

Sad news indeed, sounds like he had a heart attack

So does that mean you guys will be chearing the aussies on ?
I'm cheering the aussie women's team ;)

All the OZ riders are total cool. hung out with them at several races to include 6 days. Always have cases and cases of Fosters in their conex for day 7!

felt real bad in 2011 as Jess Gardiner broke a chain in a Special test on like day 4 or 5 right in front of me (spectating) Wish I had a chain to help her....she houred out after going all that way. Tough lady and great rider

Haha yeah it's the official beer of Aus that I've never seen anyone drink! Don't even know if you can buy it here. Think it stems back to the America's Cup days of early 80's. Putrid stuff that everyone OS thinks we drink.
