• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Is this Knight testing the FI 2T?

This video was on Offroad Champions and thought it was nothing special of Knight training in extreme. At around 34 seconds into it, the pipe/silencer changes from the right side of the bike to the left. Any KTM guys know of a model that had a silencer come out on the left hand side of a current KTM? or is this the new Fuel Injected two stroke? Thought it was interesting and I am just guessing here. Here is the link.

If you pause it you can see that the bike has orange frame, right hand side chain, left side exhaust. Now there are 2 out of 3 trademarks that Husky had first...Don't see linkage though. I am speculating here but could the left side exhaust indicate better air tract for fuel injection?

Pretty sure the video is mirrored...

If you pause it at 2:35 the letters on the Case skid steer are mirrored.

X2.... yes the video is mirrored flipped.

Look at the two bikes right after Knight's and the numbers are backwards is is the pipe on the Honda CR85

Yeah, it looks to be mirrored. At 0:41 in you can pause it and it's the right side of the bike but looking at it from the left. You usually see that in photography, not video. Heck, I didn't even know it could be done.

Why would they mirror a vid. Good viewing anyway. He's a brilliant rider especially for his size.
