• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'm not sure how these races are showing up on youtube so quickly but I'm ok with it ...

Crazy race action here ;)

You're not gonna see alot of tracks that slow these PRO racers down(unless muddy), but this one did slow'em down in a few places...

Anyone remember that 4 racer breakaway from the pack in RD1 or RD2? At RD9 (1/2 waypoint), we are a long long ways from that action ... (Daytona is next week :) )

Not sure how many of you guys watch other sports, such as the NFL, but NFL guys play hurt often, just to keep his backup off the field ... The backups are also great players up there in many cases and a good showing on the field and the injured starter can loose his job ... I.E. Tom Brady was Drew Bledsoes backup till Bledsoe got hurt ...

Cole Seely (Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda, filling in on Team Honda Muscle Milk) got the call to ride in Indy on the 450 on Monday, scored a podium on Saturday.

That was sick! It looked like he was hanging off a side car. Glad he didn't break his legs. Was happy to see RD win and the crasher just take himself out this week; I think that was the loudest the crowd got during the race.

That Hotsauce incident is unreal .. He ground that 450 bike down to 0 RPMS with his legs? I would not have even believed that was possible if it had not happened ... The rider on the other bike did not even seem aware of what was happening till he stopped ... If Hotsauce said, I'll be back at the hotel bar having a shot of straight <whisky>, I'd say ok and have 2 shots ...

The Crasher? (nice and to the point)... The Crasher is gonna be under even more pressure now to move up in the points race by trying to win every race now... Just give him room (ESP in the whoops) as he might take someone out with him ...

I think it was a Crasher double header? The best I can remember is 2 crashes in 1 race is his record ... But once he crashed 2 times on the same lane ... Once at the start of the lane and next time at the exit of the lane when he got going again ... Now thats crashing on a PRO level and can win you such a nickname such as The Crasher...

The crasher (Alessi) sure had weird remarks after his heat win. I wasn't sure if he wanted pity, people to feel sorry for him, or if he just talks that weird .

Oops ... I mistakenly identified the wrong Crasher :( ...:) ..

Pity? Good one but you need to shed at least 1 tear if that is your plan ... Did he ask for help paying his fine?

LOL no he just kept saying "we never know how long we have to live' blah blah blah . I don't think those fans would help him out if his fine was 4 bucks. Where is he from?

It sounds like he has taken quite a beating on twitter and facebook since he took out Tickle. People writing death threats and hoping he crashes and breaks his neck and other horrible things. I am definitely not a fan of the Alessi's but I certainly don't wish any harm on them. But if he was to crash and stub his pinky then decide to hang em up and open a coffee shop somewhere I wouldn't miss him.

I've actually seen this happen a few times before. Crazy stuff.

Yeah I wish no harm to any of the riders just like to see them all go at it hard but clean. I sure hope he at least had knee braces on when he stopped that bike with his legs !

Hot sauce looked a little freaked out by the event.

Local boy Peick murderd his bike while the other local boy, Seely, did a great job in the 450 class.

Hot sauce did not wanna jump back on his bike for sure ...He looked at, took a step or two towards it, and then called a time-out...

I never saw what happened to WP40 .... Same as JB51 ...I never saw exactly what his injury is all about ...

Seely may be a 450 rider? Some guys ride these bigger bikes ~better than others ... Again, this young man gave a good interview and promoted himself well.

I've never saw it but if I go back on a track, I'll be fully aware of a knobby grabbing my pants and sucking me under the rear fender...
