As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

I'd love to spend some quality time there.
What part of the state are those trails located in?

Saturday we did the ride documented on ktmtalk.
sunday we just did a short ride, up van gulch, down camp creek, up bigwater over the summit to jumbo, then down skunk creek and conant to the road, then tresa went back to camp and i went back up conant, cut over to skeleton and down jumbo/little-water. Everything was in good shape.
Not much there is rideable until june, and the good stuff not until mid-july. If you come in july, let me know and i'll try to get away and show you around, or at least hook you up with some good advice.

Up Skeleton, stay left, and down Willow is a scenic +/-35 mile loop.husky300;116860 said:..........never riden skeleton but hear it is a goo trail. .......
husky300;116860 said:Thanks for the info that gives me more options for this weekend. I will have to look into the Van Gulch loop, I have not been on it for 3+ years, and never riden skeleton but hear it is a goo trail. The link you listed for the ride takes you to the ktm site but it looks to have been removed.
motosapiens;116874 said:you have to be a ktmtalk member to view any threads there.
skeleton is an ok trail, but it's the easiest trail in the area, and also a main connector/access route, so it gets overused and even has whoops on it.
We're thinking about riding the trinities this weekend, staging from prairie.
