• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I think my days (minutes) at TT are limited....

We tried to set up as a motosportz dealer a while back but Kelly the owner refused for no apparent reason. Really, I just wanted to help my brother in law out that owns a Husky who needed some MZ stuff. But, we're not going to beg, so whatever... You Washington guys stick together! ;)
We sell Scotts and GPR. I personally run a Scotts and love it. I've used them for years. It works and we have a great working relationship with them as a dealer. The guys there know their chit and they stand behind their stuff that works very well. So yes, we are going to recommend them for good reason!
MY REPLY:
I'm not a "Washington guy". I like my Motorsportz dampers. So much so that I've bought 4 (maybe 5, I can't remember) in the last 3 years. To see this type of post from the owner of this site has sealed my opinion that TT is, primarily, a sales machine motivated by profit.

Bryan, PLEASE, I beg you. Take me outta my TT misery. BAN ME! This place is the internet equivalent of Jerry Springer!

Heh heh...

I once went to a party and the party was not good....warm beer, rude folks, and lame tunes....I did not make a scene...I just left without saying goodbye....EZ-PZ.

Yep, would rather not drag that place's atmosphere to this place if it were up to me. We all know how things run over there. Still some good info and and very useful for hooking up with other riders in the regional section.

While I greatly appreciate your rabid support
