• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I love it when I find things I didn't know I had!

I can't even remember when or where I got this, but I found it in my larger storage area of my house. If this thing is what I think it is, it will be cleaned/polished up and bolted up this weekend.

They don't even make these anymore...

The stainless GPR can is nice and perty, but I've been wanting a full system for a while to get the maximum benefit in power. Plus my old TE400 had one and I absolutely loved it. Didn't hear back from Uptite, so this may have to do.

We shall see soon! Ill report back after I have it on, assuming this one fits, which I think it does! Wahoo!

Oh yeah, here's the old TE400 with one...

Thanks guys!

Yeah, seriously, price not too bad at all, considering I don't even remember, so it couldn't have been that bad eh'!

I'm busy all wkend/wk, so dropped it off at my Saab mechanic who also loves working on bikes for a fraction of the dealer, and he's way better too, well, not George status, lol, but you know what I mean. He's going to go through it this week, needs all basic maintenance, swapping bars, jetting, tank cleaned out, some new orings on those dumb fuel petcocks, and of cos polish up the new FBF system, repack the muffler and slap that on too, hopefully it fits great! He looked at the FBF pipe and he says, "that things is gonna be loud isn't it?".... lol. Yep, but as bad as others! I'm all desert/open...so no worries on sound for this one.

Ill put some shots up later this week when I get it back! Love it when the bikes get love.

with the new dc shrouds? how was that experience?

You know, I think they're OEM Husky. I need to go and check. I remember we bought some new plastics from MotoXotica when we first got it late '07, but we may have kept some of the new stuff for later. I need to go check now, I just can't recall. Good q'.

Wow that 360 looks really clean! The plastics look good. I had a 96 wxc250. It now belongs to my friend but we ride together and I still help him maintain it. Can't find any nice plastics for it. Still have all of the original plastics but they are in a sad state. Most are cracked or repaired or faded horribly. Almost all of them are attached by zip tie now.

Here's a pic from last week. Sorry it's sideways.

okay unless you just got em then yes they are original 98-99 style...dc just started reproducing these but they are not making the 95-96 style. 95-99 all swap either way.
was just curious as the dc products can be hit or miss in fit, thought you had got their new shrouds.

Hey Ghetto, check with MotoXotica, if not already on plastics. Sorry, was gone all day yday, will check the plastic make when I get home later Justin.

There was a clean '93 360 the other week for sale up in the Los Angeles area for a grand, almost picked it up, since these bikes eventually will be harder to come by in good to great shape.

Funny thing, bike is actually dirty. It has more cosmetic potential than that, lol. :applause:
