  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HVA 250TC 2011

I was in at Malcolm Smith on Thursday this week and he has two new TC449's and a couple of 2009/10 250's but no 11's... Also a couple of very sweet FE570/390 Husaberg's set up for MX.... that 570 might just be my dream bike...

Krieg, why you say "Don't hold your breath" ? You think i never receive this model between Mars and April ? April is my dead line, have my first race the first week of May. If i no receive my HVA before 30 Mars i need purchase another bike, maybe suzuki 250f :-(

Are you in the USA Andrew? Rumor is that the USA won't be receiving any 2011 TC 250's.

The bike was due to be released in September but the technicians from Munich told the factory to make new frames...That was the first delay....Then there was another problem with the crank...everything has been fixed now and we have a much better bike. The bikes are being shipped now from the factory but the problem is is that we are already in March so they are only doing a small production run...the big effort now is concentrating on the new 2012 bike due to be released in September...This bike promises to be something else :-)

thanks a lot for the info.

Tell me this means Keihen EFI. Husky needs to swap everything over tot he EFI thats on the new 449/511 as it is fantastic and miles ahead of previous EFI offerings. Works PERFECT and needs no tuning / messing with. That change alone would make the bikes far better IMHO.

Ok but where is the 250TC 2011 ? is comming ? my first race is 24 april 2011, if the bike is now in factory in Italia is not good news !
