• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna Week End Get Together.

Mr Ford40

Husqvarna
A Class
Ladies/Gents who would be interested in a week end to meet up and go for a ride.
A couple idea's i've come up with is.
1 Ride NSW
2 Husqvarna's only
3 I would try to get one of the bike mag's interested
4 Try to find some give aways.
5 May be a Auction and all proceeds goes to a selected charity.

Or we just meet up and have a ride nothing is set in concrete and open to idea's.

Yeah cool had a look at it must of been you riding down pass the tree's and back. might have to put some wieghts behind you to slow you down.

I would be interested to go for a ride in Nsw somewhere as I would have to travel down from Qld.
(It might be that I would like to bring a couple of mates on.....ahem....Bergs. (Well, they're cousins now, or half brothers or something)

Next thing would be when....?
I work a mining roster & at the moment we are finishing up at one job and looking to start another.
As a result, the roster is all over the place. (Try - 1 week on/ 1 week off, 2 on/1 off, 9 days on & 5 off......etc)
I would say by early spring I'll know what/where I'll be, and it won't be so cold for a poor Queenslander like me to suffer :D

If you guys want to ride before then, that's cool, but at this time I couldn't commit to anything.:(

Maaaaaate I'm happy with blending in with anybody else and happy to work with you or who ever else wants to go as for the Bergs well mmmm because they are part blood thats ok I dont know how I could explain my young blokes KTM dont know how that fits into the picture and my mates sherco, Do the french and italians have some loyality I dont know. Owell any bike I dont care. As long as we are there for fun. then it could be on Euro's agaist Jap.

i think the French would be really stretching the friendship.....:)
Ktm, well, that's Husqvarna's new mum, I gees we'll just have to learn to get along.

I see you like the OSSA Good friends of mine are one of the dealers . 2 stroke ossa a little different.
