• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HUSQVARNA TC 449 WINS RD1 PHOENIX TOOLS MX CHAMPIONSHIP

Great news, awesome pic, but... two-way traffic on an MX course? Yikes.

Nice, good to see ti is more than competitive at local fast guy levels. Will be interesting to see how it works out as a MX bike.

At the meeting yesterday there was six riders in the MX1 class that all ride in the British Championship with Darren and in the second race his lap times were almost 3 seconds a lap quicker as he came from 11th to first in just under 5 laps. Darren fastest lap time was 2.03.77 against Mel Pocock who was fastest in the MX2 race with a 2.04.42 (Mel was team mate last year to Zac Osbourne, now riding for the TAS Suzuki Team) The bike is completley stock except for 51T rear sprocket which has made a huge difference to the bike.

The TC version is sounding better and better ....

The bike can be even better, we are currently trying to source a silencer for it. As at the first British Championship 2 weeks ago our 2 bikes were tested, using the new noise test procedure (full throttle for 1 sec measured at 2 metres) 1 bike that had done 20 hrs recorded 110db the other bike which had done 5 hrs recorded 112db. When you consider because of the cold weather some of teams were allowed to hit 117db the current limit is 115db.
So if anyone knows of a aftermarket pipe to fit the TC please let us know.
