• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna Corporate: Please make a larger tank for the WR125!!!

At the risk of stating the obvious, this forum is intended to be a place to put things where the corporate folks can see it, a public feedback forum. If and when they visit they might want things nice and tidy so they don't have to spend a lot of time reading though posts in this forum.

If there is too much stuff to wade through, the posts may not be read. It might be best to stay focused regarding things you want Husqvarna to read.

Note that people not logged into Cafe Husky can, and do, read these threads from all over the world.

The 2010 tank is much bigger than the 09!
You are all saved....

From what i hear it went from 1.9 to 2.15, not enough by any stretch. that equals 4-5 miles on the WR125.

Didn't Herman Monster have a fuel tank like that on the front of his roadster? Just kidding. I'm not one to complain, but Husky did ship us all 2009 bikes that would run properly until months later when the upgrade kits were at the dealers and on our bikes.

Now were all running around with inferior gas tanks begging for someone to make a larger gas tank. If Husky is going to expand there customer base beyond brand loyal riders like us, there going to have to look and listen to what's going on outside the walls of their factory.

3 gallon tank please someone!

From all the specs that I can find the WR125 has only a 1.9gal tank.

6.5 liters is what I have been told the actual capacity is = 1.7 gallons. It was supposed to be 7 liters which would be 1.85 gallons. "Somewhere" on this forum is listed a factory Acerbis tank from the Husqvarna Hard parts catalog that is supposed to be 25% bigger than the stock 6.5 Liter tank.
