• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna contact info

I need to speak to a rep for the Central/South America. Not a dealer - someone at the distribution level. Not sure what their sales structure is. Any idea? Name/Title with Email and/or Phone would be great.

Thanks oregonsage. However, I would like to speak to someone at Husqvarna regarding an issue I have with that very same CR dealership actually. You see, after buying a Husaberg "lemon" from him, I agreed to order a new 2014 Husqvarna if he was taking the berg back. This was almost 5 months ago. The dealer had told me at the time that the the new bike would be delivered before the end of November. That never happened. And whenever I'm able to get a hold of him, I get the same story - "there was a problem (never really tells me what), and the bike will arrive in 2 weeks". Even though I know now that this is BS, there's not much else I can do until I speak with someone at Husqvarna. The last story was that there was a factory recall on the ECU - I tried to find out more details but to no avail. Now I'm pretty sure that the deal took my money for the new bike for other personal purposes, but I can't prove that at this time. While the problem with the local dealer is mine to deal with (and yes, I'm kicking myself for trusting people too much sometimes), I can't beleive that Husqvarna Corp doesnt care about people who buy their motocycles, to the point that it's impossible to contact anyone within the company to report this issue with one of their official dealers! This has been the worse buying experience ever so far!!! This was going to be my first Husky, and possibly more to come, but chances are that I will resell it (assuming I ever get it) before even sitting on it, and go with a competitor.

Mattighafen took over my e-mail address. I pressed the button to cancel their mail but it kept coming. Whenever I cancelled, I got the MS "Oh NO!", so I sent them a very critical letter. No trouble since then.
