• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna 1998 te 410 triple clamp

Hi guys.. I am having a big problem to find somewhere upper triple clamp bc my old is broken. Does anybody know if one from 2000 te410 will fit? Or some alternative ones what I should use?.. Couple more questions: wires for turn lights are ready to just plug or do I need to play with electric?.. No battery so kinda awkward to find out how it is work... Maybe electric scheme would help a lot if anybody has it handy.. Thanks appreciate any help

I am confused you are asking for a triple clamp for a 1998 TE 410 that should have 50mm conventional marzocchi forks and you want to put a triple clamp from a 2000 TE 410 that had 45mm upside down forks on it ? To Make matters more confusing your husqvarna motorcycle is listed as a 1999 TE 410 below your avatar box ? Also if you are in Europe we would need to know if the bikes are left kick or electric start as well ? The answer would be NO for the 2000 clamp on a 1998 but yes for the 2000 clamp on the 1999 assuming they are both TE clamps.

I was confused same way. The guy what I bought it from was telling me that the year is 99 or 00 but I see on sticker 98... I am in the US lol but originally from Slovakia :). The bike is left-kick start so I am assuming 98 is right. So the triple clamp has to be 98 or can I go with some alternatives? I am sorry for not the best English (haven't been here long). Thanks

Can you post a picture ? Can you measure the forks ? How about are the forks upside down ? Is there a number on the bottom of the clamp, there usually is with husky. We can get it sorted.
