• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

How big were they when you uploaded them to photobucket?

Near the Upload images & Video button there should be a way of selecting '1 meg' file size, use that.

Try attaching them to a post and see if they are legible, I've been spending much time on that today.

Looks like that worked.

It's about bleeping time for Husky to win.:applause::thumbsup:

Thanks for posting this great result. It has taken some time to move from really good but least known to excellent and still least known. I am glad to have a husky it always invokes comment. KTM et al are pretty generic these days.

Excellent. Funny though, same bike as last year pretty much, why did it not win then? BMW dollars seem to be working :D

My thoughts exactly. Magazines are basically prostitutes. I read them with a sense of humor and skepticism.

I try to read them too, however most mags nowadays have verry little literature and a whole lot of pictures instead. Guess thats why I havent subscribed to any mags other than Cycle News.

Good job Darkside. Thanks for taking the time to post that. Great to see Husky
getting some love from a mag. I was beginning to think KTM had a lifetime contract with
the Mags. Sounds like the BMW faired pretty well to.

How is it the Aprilia got dinged for wide radiator shrouds and the Husky didn't? My wr is great but everyone I know with Husky's complains that the wide shrouds grab everything in the woods.
