• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky wins at AMA Western National Hare Scrambles

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Not over all and not in the pro class but my little 125 pulled it off again
First place 50 A expert.I just love riding a 125 in the open class
i am just a regular guy who NEVER won a expert race until i started racing a HUSKY Thanks Husky you make this old man feel young every time i get on the bike
As for the race only saw 3 Huskys 2 4 strokes and my 125.Robertaccio
had a good run in the 40 b class think he got a 4th on a TXC 450

The race was held at Rayon Hughes track called Ryno Land in Anza Calif
It is in the foothills of the mountains and the track was tight real tight
Most of the track was first or second in and around the scrub trees.
The laps were about 7 miles and it took the pros about 18 min to complet each lap.We had to race for 3 hours the pros are so fast
and when they pass you it is hard to beleive how they do it.There are 7 races all over the west and 3 of they will run with the WORC
group.

John you rock!! Man!!,
I think only 3 huskys were there, #1 John K CR125 50A****************************************!3 hr, #5 Kevin Uquart AA/Pro(from dead last at the start) 3hr, #5 Robert N 40B 2hr

4th if not for that d37 dez expert (read fast guy) that always races B class and wins our class.....lost a tecate hs trophy because of that guy!!!

hey good job Robert! sorry I couldn't make it,the back just was not up to it but ,congrats.I sent the txc susp.out to les at ltr can't wait thanks for the tip .

you guys and gals, as a race fan/participant the transponder thing is best tech ever!! immediate results, lap times, fastest lap, OA info, Class info. Transponder Tech is just great. Kept mine with the goal of doing the Glen Helen WORCS/West HS combo event in Sept. The Husky fender brace made the best zip tie it on spot. I have always hated the wait for results after events without the electronic gear. The Sean Reddish crew is top notch (as seen with the WORCS series)

Aiming to collect some points at Glen Helen in Sept...that is it for my 09 WHS series career.
Hope to see some of you guys in the mix at the northern west coast rounds, cmon 40Bs alittle so-nor friendly points comp.
Ajax did the pro 3 hr down here:notworthy:and won the "older" guy class.

darn missed a good show, had some deep talent as usual,,,,,,amazing that it was Honda 1-2-3,,,,(Timmy Weigand is quite fierce) have not seen that for long time,,,I wonder if they are all on 09 CRFs (FI bikes). Our Husky guys did not fair so well.
I am hoping for some Husky podium action in the PNW rounds, both the Kevins will be on their home turf!!
