• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HI All,

what's the number for Husky USA customer service.. my dealer is not helpful.

Dealer ordered Husky POwerparts low seat for my 2017 TE250 and it ripped after one ride.. I'd like replacement one of course and dealer is not helpful. I mean what the heck.. it's not like I abused seat for a year.. it ripped after one gentle break in ride..

Thanks!

No offense but thats what literally every single customer says..... it may be true but its like a broken record...... have a hard time believing it ripped on its own unless it was on the seam.....

Guess what....my low seat ripped after one ride as well....and it was not my fault or the covers fault....after careful inspection I came to the conclusion that the seat base actually was manufactured with a jagged edge right near the edge by stitching....mine was covered ....and that's why I drive 11 hours one way to halls......oh yea I like all those guys to!

here are the pics of mine... one ride.

Don't really look like manufacturer error either..... sometimes you just chalk it up to riding a dirt bike in the dirt.... maybe its time for a new dealer....

If it was my call it could go 3 ways..... first bike you bought from me and probably never another (total gut call) and I wouldn't go out of my way to warranty something that is on a dirt bike and could very well of happened riding.... or first bike from me but I know you've bought others lately and you will most likely by from me again and I would cover it (even if it cost me money)..... or you've bought many a bike from me and I cover it without question.... also depends on how much you beat me up on the price of the bike to start with

Moral is.... build a relationship with your dealer.....

Pity you are so far away. Have a lot of real leather (cut offs) lying around here and it would take me 15 minutes to re-cover that for you with something that will never rip.

SIDI SRS. there is no way it's boot damage.. or my butt. It never comes that far back on the seat..
Just curious... My old style Gaerne SG10's would catch the seat on my '12 Husaberg and make those little cuts a long the edge. I could get them towards the back, if I swung a leg back in a tight spot. I switched to SG11's, which are the new SG10's now and no more problem. Good luck with your deal!

Guess I need to suck it up and buy new 11's. Noticed my 10's getting caught on my white tc250 and my sherco. Really thought it was something I changed. Never anything noticeable on the red bikes. Tell ya what, no white boots this time lol
