• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky TV Ad

Cool.
I didn't see it, maybe because I was feeling a little James Stewart last night, dazed and confused.

Quick and simple I liked it...wonder if we'll see more during other shows.
Lot of time and money spent if not.

If anyone can tell me for sure! I went to Supercross Indy 2 weeks ago, and there were 2 bikes there that a group of guys in front of us swore they were Huskys. 450 class, a really crappy light blue color with white seats. I tried to zoom in close with binoculars, and the frame just didn't look Husky. (Hard to tell) but then I don't really know much about the motocross Huskys. Anyone? BTW, THE best Main Event this year! Chad Reed winning but Stewart is SOOOO fast!! Shaved 6 seconds off the lead in 1 lap!!! AMAZING!!:notworthy:

The Blue bikes in question were Suzuki RMZ450's , seen a thread on TT and a few had mistaken them for TM's as well.

Thanks! It's been driving me crazy since. I believe the sponsor was CC Rider if i'm not mistaken. That was the only visible marks on the bikes. Thanks again!

357 is correct, they are RMZ 450's. When Suzuki originally pulled all their amateur/privateer support (although now they are doing something again after reconsideration), this team decided since they were no longer getting any support from Suzuki then why should they promote Suzuki and Suzuki colors. I could be mistaking, but I am pretty sure there aren't ANY Suzuki logos anywhere on that bike. Pretty cool and makes sense I guess....If they aren't supporting you then why should you support and promote them. Just my 2 cents.
