• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

jpro grip jacket 056.JPGjpro grip jacket 057.JPG I thought I would let it out that we have a few of the husky pro grip enduro jackets available. We have large, xlarge, & xxlarge available right now. The sizing is amazingly correct for european stuff. The price is 169.95 per jacket. We only have a few of each size so feel free to ask questions. Mike.

You got to it before m, thanks Mike.

Cool coats that are not as fancy as the Sinisalo ones but seems more built for racing function.

Sorry, but the photos in this thread do absolutely no justice whatsoever to the jacket! It is beautiful in real life, a gorgeous shade of red, and the reflective stripes on the sleeves and shoulders are like beacons in the night. Even without the reflective stripes it's a pretty flashy jacket and I feel outrageously conspicuous when I wear it :D I ordered a medium and the sleeves were about 6" too long for my 18" long arms (armpit to wrist.) A professional tailor friend of mine cut off the tops of the removeable sleeves and then re-sewed the zippers back on. Ya can't even tell! She also commented on how well-made the jacket was. The stitching impressed her :)

This jacket lacks a few things I'd really like to have in a riding jacket (venting, built-in armor, zippered pockets, waterproof) but I still really enjoy owning it and wearing it because it's pretty and the cool factor is way off the charts  This thing screams "Husqvarna" at top volume! In the photos below I was wearing my dirtriding elbow guards and the back protector I usually wear with my leathers. It worked fine except for having to peel all that stuff off in restaurants and such. Anyway, here it is in all it's bright red Husky glory

And yeah, like Dirtdame says, I wouldn't mind having some pants and jerseys in sizes that actually fit.
