• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I knew that this was my fault that i procrastinated for only just 1 ride, how bad can it be right?

I rode my wr250 instead of the 125 because the distance to reach Tulameen from Caroline Mines was long. I knew where the wobble was coming from because the bearings were worn and I could feel it every time when I leaned the bike.

Changing my front bearings today and I noticed the little chip marks on the outside after I carefully used a flat head for leverage to get the seals out and took out the clip with c-clip pliers? Thought it was all fine n dandy, assumed it was from the ride because it was rocky along the way. I placed my hub out in the sun for a good hour or so it can expand to get the bearing out. Angled the sleeve off centre to get an area to start punching with light-moderate force on the worn bearing.

:banghead:

Are there any aftermarket hubs out there that will fit Cagiva/Bmw huskies with the stock excel rims?

Did you ever find a replacement? I am looking for an extra set of hubs for my 2007 TE450. Thanks.

I bought a set of warp 9 elites for my 125 and swapped the oem stock wheels onto my wr250:p. $260CDN(without taxes) for an oem hub, but I went with rotor, sprocket, hub, over-sized spokes, and 7050 rims for $1,200CDN(duty/taxes/shipping already included) for the full package deal, no problems on the installation. My spokes were loose before throwing them on the bike, so I gave it to a buddy of mine to true it perfectly and it was solid after that.

Italhusky has all the oem parts here

I do have a brand new set of OEM Husqvarna hubs that I was going to build a set of wheels out of. They are complete with bearings and seals.
