• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky Dream Team?

crb345

Husqvarna
B Class
What would be the dream off road Husky Team for the various diciplines? Worcs, Enduro, GNCC, Hare and Hound, etc....

Kind of like a fantasy football but with pro off road riders.

I like Whibley and Jarrett for GNCC with Whibs doing OMA and Jarrett with National Enduro's. Whibs on tcx 450 and Jarrett on wr 250.

heck with Knight and Merriman BMW already has some of the best to share with Husky. Toss Casselli in there for the trifecta.

GNCC and National Enduro..... Fred Hoess, Team Manager/Rider WR125; Bart Oblucki, TC250; Paul Whibley, TXC450 and Jimmy Jarrett, WR300.

I heard Merriman was riding for Yamaha in OZ,is your race season the same time of year
as ours?

Yepper - bring out a baddarse custom Desert King Special WR 550 two-stroke, in white and blue.... of course.

Watch everyone turn freaking white when that thing DA-DANG-DANG-DANG's it's way up to the start line .....then leave's a San Andreas sized ditch to follow to the Bomb.

Flying Fish-sized stone's fer lunch anyone? :busted:

Weeeeeee!

I'd like to see Husky get back to the desert.

Mike why wait do not just talk about it come out and ride .I race Dist 37
Desert and there are only a few husky so come on .For get about Baja and all her problems come up to Lucern and mix it up.If i can run
weeken after weeken on a 125 against the 250 and open class then
at least for me Husky builds a good bike.I will run my #1 plate again
next year at the Nationals in the open class.Heck this last weeken
i had a good 2 days of racing and will now wait for my Husky Bucks
The best thing this old man did was to switch to a husky 125 it makes me feel young again ,until i take my helmet off
So for now at least for me HUSKY is back in the desert and winning

I hear ya. I raced d37 for 20 years!

Im a big fan of your butt kicken 125 antics.

Lets hope Sr. Hardin's son Brett, and his current race partner Mike Childress get teamed up on a TXC510 one day soon.

Sad but i dont think BMW will allow Husky to bloom again in the desert. I think they will push their own 450 at great cost to Husky.
