• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

No doubt. I'd be all over that if I could.

The event should also be about making current owners happy too, right?

Again, demoing bikes on this high profile track looks good for the brand ... Free free and try some new lines out there ....

I think the ride will take place in the GH trail system (which has some tough enough stuff), the FIM MXGP is in town and fri is practice and sat is qualifying dont think FIM will have us clowns out on the course, it is written as a TE test not a TXC/TC test.

So if I show up and test a husky on the mxgp course and blow Cairoli's doors do I get a factory ride? I'm pretty sure I can do it.

That sounds like a good challenge! Hopefully I can make it out there to race one day. Looser buys beers at the end of the day.

Got my notice today! I'm in for Saturday @ 10:00 a.m. Glen Helen confirmed all is a go today!

Looking forward to planning on how to work my way around Clay and Cairoli without taking them out....!

Me 2, Fri 1300, TE310 here I come (I hope). Hope Revelle or eqivalent is the ride captain. (there are some really good/tough single track loops around the park)
Hey bonus 2 day MXGP passes with pit cert for 45 bucks......I may change my plans for the weekend.

I hope, if possible and appropriate, that they have a fast & slow group. I am quite sure they will be pleasantly surprised how well you fine people ride.
