    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Anyone know much about these? - supposed to be a US model
looked at both yesterday in Oz. Similar to a TXC but 2T .
All I know is no compliance plate. Didnt have lights or switch plates. 18 inch rear tyre.
They said it has WR ignition ( shame ) . Stand . Cr muffler.
I know a guy is racing a 250 one here but got it from the US. - I havent seen anyone discuss them on here.

They are US spec WR's. They have no road equipment, come with an MX front number plate and a simple Enduro light kit (headlight, fender top taillight) in parts box. 125/150 has CR silencer and 250/300 has spark arrestor silencer. They still come with DOT/FIM road legal tires. Husky 2 strokes have been this spec in the US since '92.
 
is the tank shown on their pics an 2010 tank? - it looks larger - I thought that was 2011 when they they changed
 
Nice bike and good really value for money if only running rec rego, my son is considering XC250 on rec rego, waiting on NSW
 
The guy I know thats racing one thought it was a special model - different steering rake he said - really its a just the same as a WR without lights - and a lot cheaper I guess
Id get one if it was only used for racing ( if it was 150 it would be sold) Still miss the old WR 125 . Te 250 overheats and has starting isues- too complicated for me

note these can only be rec rego or raced

Just picked one in West OZ for my 15 year old to race in the local Junior Offroad events, He will do some MX on it as well.
Cannot beat the price.
