• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HUSAGREN 125

This bike is engineered to compete in the EMX 125 championship, so its jumping right into the deep end of the pool.
Poletti Suspension is a well known suspension shop in Italy, this is their suspension engineering firm ( at least 1 of my Italian MX friends was sponsored by them in the past).
Chassis looks Honda, Suz, Kaw, TM style, swing arm looks Japanese/or TM design type. no need to reinvent the wheel. all else you can see looks aftermarket supplier stuff. I want to see more of the engine, a clone? a CR125/KX125/YZ/TM/Husky ????? Clone?? or an all new design?

Is this designed by the Swedish Husqvarna and husaberg engineers? I like the swingarm it's a rectangle box. Lots of strength and more control less flexing. The engine doesn't sound too bad too. We never know who's gonna rock the dirtbike world next with a better bike. Me personally would like to see a Swedish built bike again. Let's hope so.

Ron that's where I was at as well. Honda CR125. Maybe reverse engineered, why not? I would do the same all the engineering costs are already spent by Honda .....just clone their best 125 or whichever one you want to use. That branch of the Honda tree is dead so take a piece and graft onto your tree. This is just a guess, because the late model TMs have a Honda style twin spar alloy perimeter chassis as well. BTW TM does sell their engines to the right buyer, meaning, in quantity.

Japan patterns last 10 years just like the front brake hose routing..... CR was a great bike.... something weird with the plastic/graphics almost looks photoshopped

I should of known better that the older husky and berg engineers wouldn't be involved there probably too old now.

From my understanding anyone can buy a replacement Tm engine right now in stock with the USA Tm importer..looked at a 17 this weekend.... Ridiculous clutch pull....enough to rule bike out of my future... Otherwise nice but frame (there own..) Is getting old school as well...

Since Husqvarna is really a KTM. IDK what this new bike will do in the competition. I wish it well.

well they plan to race at the Swede Udevalla MXGP this month in the FIM EMX125 class.....that's deep waters to join the swim in.

I would love more info. Power plant? Frame & swingarm? Are they copies or original designs? Guess we'll have to wait to see....

Looks old school cr125(plastics/frame/brake discs).

Wish them well I'm sure the production bike will look a lot more modern. Enduro bikes too(250 could easily become a 300!)
