  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc How to bend a Custom Walt Smith FMF pipe

OPPPS - Nice repair job ajax  I flattened my HGS and my fatty playing in our local rock garden, Self same rock both times and both pipes were beyond repair for me to get straight. Been looking for another fatty for over a year at the right price but alas none have come up. I avoid that lump of rock other to piss on it now and have a real personal hatred for it
Watched your other vid and thats one brutal looking ride! good stuf :applause:

FMF hooked me up with a new pipe I just had to change the front part the brakets and the stinger Then 4 hours later a new pipe that is why I posted that Walt does not charge enough because it is a lot of work BUT so worth it as the bike is such a great bike to ride as a 165 with a custom FMF pipe

I caught a stump with mine last ride, put a kink in the fat part and completely pancaked the lower mount. Still need to pull it off and get it fixed.

Finally got a new Fatty delivered to me here in the UK after spending a year trying to locate one or ordering what was listed as a Fatty and getting sent Gnarlys every time :(
Opened up the garage at 2.45 and rode out of it with new pipe all welded up and painted around the welds and the stinger at 4.05, this includes removing the Dep that was fitted to the bike.
The reason my pipes take so little time to alter is I dont remove the original KTM mounts I actualy use them to mount the pipe, Makes the job a doddle and dosnt leave the scars from removing them.
