  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

How many miles do you have on your te 310

About ten months and 600 miles, mostly dirt, rocks and trees with a 50 tooth sprocket in rear. Also riding my WR250R to shed the load on the 310.

1500 at 11 months, 61 hours. This bike mainly does the tight woods riding duties and doesn't see pavement much if any. I have other bikes for the road duties.

One year = 563 miles. Unfortunately the bike has been in the shop for almost four months during that time! But, I got it back this week and am looking forward to riding it again!

213 miles...need to ride more. :o

I'd say! This is your year to rack up the miles Mike:thumbsup: Last year when I went to the ADV rally, I rode 246 miles in one day on the stock seat. Ouch. Mostly closed fire roads and ATV trails, fast open single track too. 8 days straight of riding so it didn't take long to rack some miles up. Other than the stupid EVO2 battery crapping out, the Husky performed flawlessly.

826 miles on my 310 and had it 10 months. It has to share time with my tiddler and I am halfway through a 3 month hiatus from riding(or anything physical) due to surgery on my C-spine. June 7th, I will be back in the saddle.

A little over 300 miles in a 3 months. Majority off-road but 3.4 very memorable miles on the Tarmac last Saturday when I got to ride her 1-lap around the Circuit of the Americas' track during the MotoGP weekend.

Bike has run flawlessly on the street, track and (especially), trail.
