• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The weather at the beach has been crappy, so I did a little weather check for Hollister and
liked the sunny 80 degree forcast. The weather was great and only me and 20 other riders
had the park to ourself. I have never seen the place so empty??? RED STICKER. Economy,
Time of year (it is normal to hit +100) ???

Anyway my plan was to get a little air time on the 2011 TE 250. I rode the three tracks
(Vintage,SX and TT) , most of the blue squares and some black diamonds alone.... The
250 ripped up that place in 4 hrs and was voted "Nicest Bike in the Park" by a local gal !!!
I did see a new 449 or 511 putting around.

I am very happy the way my 250 is running right now (Full LEO kit, Power Commander/Auto-tune
map created for my bike and the way i ride it. Auto-tune has been removed and Ti-header has been
installed.IMGP0001.JPGIMGP0001.JPGIMGP0003.JPGIMGP0004.JPG

"Nicest Bike in the Park"? Sounds a little interesting ;)

The track is place for logging air-time ... But I'd watch that rear license plate holder though .... It might develop a crack :(

Don't those bikes come with a Ti-header from the factory?

Dang, She was hitting on me ??? The whole time I thought she " Liked my Husky" ....

Air-time was achieved for me ( 49+ ridding 41 yrs.). Let the plastic fall off. Ha Ha.

I have been running the stock header SS I think ? with the Auto-Tune broad-band O2 sensor to make a map.

All is Good

I live there and in the summer your lucky if you see 20 riders on a weekend.

We all ride there in winter, you will see 200 to 300 riders every weekend, Dec through April or till the rain stops.

This year we had one of the latest rains in history...June 18th A half inch of rain fell in Hollister with perfect motocross trails.

C ya.
