• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Holiday gift ideas??

Swampds

Husqvarna
AA Class
My task today is to create a list of good gift ideas for the family so I don't end up with socks and shirts. I currently own a 07 TE 450 and it needs some new stuff for Christmas.

I want some pivot pegs. I know in years past they offered a good holiday special.

The bike also needs some new plastic. Does anyone have some good sources?

I am considering the cush sprocket, I think I seen that they are in that $80 price range.

Does anyone have a good source for bar risers that will work with the small diameter bars?

Maybe a Husky jersey , do we have any stuff from Italy yet?

It is time for a new chain guide. Does anyone have a opinion on which is the best. I currently have the stock unit.

I will continue to add some stuff, but I would like to hear some opinions and ideas to add to my list.

TIA

I just redid all the plastics on my 2005 to make it into a 2011 clone.. used all stock Husky Plastics Bought from malcolm in Riverside... great prices and factory plastic/good fit...

Husky Jerseys should be or are in dealers shortly....

Get the BRP chain guide ... rock solid.

Renthal Sprockets work well... great pricing through Cycle Gear... get part numbers off of Renthal sight.. call cycle Gear and have them order for you....some complain that Renthal don't last long... Mine last quite well...
