• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HM Honda 2012 2T 125 enduro (and other models)

robertaccio

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Euro3 compliant. Street legal (norm for EU enduro models). Motor source not positive either Minarelli ,Morini (Franco) or Rotax (it looks like Rotax style PV config) as usual for the Italian mini and cottage shop/importer built machines. As for chassis HM usually uses Verlicchi to build them for their non-Honda built units, like this and their minis.

I would say that "uncorked" this machine is a ripper.

What actual bikes are those? Honda has not made 2 strokes since 02 right?

Edit, after looking at them closer they are not Hondas at all huh?

HM (Honda Montesa) is the Honda Italia importer. They contract with various Italian manufacturers and engineering firms to create their "own Hondas" of course all the Honda Hondas are the Japanese imports. The 50cc minis and the 125 2T and 4Ts are all in house models. Even Mika's E3 CRF480 is an HM creation built on the CRF450 base. Chassis for the in house models(50s,125s) basically scaled down Honda clones built by Verlicchi S.P.A, motors are sourced like KTMs, Huskys and many others minis (morini/beta/minarelli/rotax dont know which one).

rotax dont know which one

i bet it is that 125 2 stroke.
