• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Higher bars for TE630?

paintman

Husqvarna
C Class
I got some dropper plates made up so that my pegs are 20mm down and back, 30mm bar risers are in place, but at 6,3" I am still not comfortable when up on the pegs, so has anyone fitted aftermarket bars that give greater height than the standard bar? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Did you also change the gear shifter and break paddle. Because that drop........ I am thinking, would make your foot an an awful angle.??

I'm 6'5 - The rox makes the bars too high and it won't turn quickly on dirt. I have 30 mil risers and renthal high fat bars. perfect. (oh and also peg drop plates). I've had a lower gear shifter made my www.motosupplies.com and they also cut off the brake foot and put on a lower pivoting foot. I can't provide pics right now as the bike is having forks from a ktm 950SE which needs new yokes and spindle etc and it'll be a week or two.

Zombie thread- I know... Anyway I did the shorter Rox and I love them. I'm 6'4 and standing on the pegs has gotten about a million times better with these. I'd agree that the steering on the street does feel different, and probably slower, but I'm real happy with them.

I have the same and noticed that with the bars too far forward you get an over steer on the street / hard pack. I keeping about 3/16" off the front bolt clamp.
