• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Here's a Husqvarna for you!

I got all excited then I saw it was a "Supuki".

It is cool though. Very well done.

I think I would have used two 510 top ends on the TL lower end. :D

One have to wonder;
if only this Marcuse guy had the ability to fuse two Husky450's and shove'm in there instead of that UZUki........
Well we all have our dreams I guess.....
Sweet looking bike thou

I dunno...I'm not too bummed about the motor. Suzuki makes some very nice v-twin motors.

It's just a concept moc-up concept by an independent designer from Sweden.

Yeah, I know that. I was responding to Muddy Waters and Motorhead expressing their displeasure at the motor being a Suzuki twin. I happen to be a fan of Suzuki's v-twin motors. Suzuki got it right.

Woodsy for me it wasn't displeasure, more of a slight disappointment...
coming from a source like Blip and seeing all the Husqvarna logos especially the one on the engine case
I thought "damn, here it is; the first step for world domination..." only to find it is not really a Husky...

you see it's not really about what Suzuki makes, it's more about what Husqvarna doesn't....
I have nothing against Suzuki, I've owned one before and after doing my research
and realizing what my local terrain is, riding ability and lack of good ground support (dealership...)
I was going to shelve the dream and own another...(my :notworthy:boss thought otherwise and therefor here I am...)

but all of this really doesn't matter now,
LOOK AT THAT (610sm)SFT650********************************************************************************!

I tell you the more I look at it the more i think "why the hell not?..."
Husky can make it in about two weeks and it could be ready for mass consumption in a month

Am I the only one who think this little caferacer/street tracker is cool? :excuseme:

Things are quiet right now and I'm board!

Sorry about the non relevant post... I just thought it was interesting.
