• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

help to pick up SM wheels kit for TE 630

Need help to choose the right SM wheels for the TE 630

from this web site http://www.motostrano.com/default.asp
I assume it is the right place, if not a link to is appreciated

I need a set of two wheels (kit with whatever is needed to install and properly adjust the speedometer) for street riding and occasional super moto track day

thank you in advance

They are a good place to pick up aftermarket kits. However, they have a single line for Husky's on the model's list which is insufificent. Modern Huskie's have radial disks, so there's a change. Plus they mention 125-530 on that model selector... Did they mean 630? I'd call the folks there and confirm. I'm sure the wheels will fit, but will the caliper adaptor fit? The bare bones kit is probably fine to get you started.

I thought I read on this site where someone with a 630 had purchased a sm wheelset from them and had problems.. you might want to do a search.

i checked with dealer, he said sm and te brakes (and therefore I assume rotors) are not the same.
Still checking with motostrano.

I wouldn't deal with Motostrano if I were you. They are useless with service. I eventually went through and payed for an order through them and was so unhappy with them and their mucking about that I cancelled the order. Got my wheels from Radmfg.com in the end, cheaper, better parts, great service. In the end i went for Excel rims with Rad's top of the line billet hubs. Oh but they are still in the cupboard awiting fitment to bike after being cleaned up by a car I'm still out of action, 8 months and counting...!
