  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Help. Ive been pricing up pistons for my 2011 cr125 husky pistons are about £150 can i use a vertex in it ? It has no holes in the piston like the husky one are these a necessity? Husky pistons are way too much I think ,the bikes great but come on let's get real .sorry price was for piston and top gasket set .atb Wayne

Well as I am in the same boat as Wayne and stuck with UK prices and have to also change a piston or two I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the Honda cr 125 B piston fitting the Husky motor
I have been trying to get hold of one today but no one had one on the shelf. Most honda pistons are half the price of the husky item no matter whos making them
The B piston is identical bore wise so should fit nicely as long as the pin fits ****************************************
I was told they do fit but thought some off you guys might be able to verify ithttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290655343503?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130584568636?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
As you can see if you look at both links the B piston measures 59.95 and the standard is 53.94
So Men any idea and help to offer us ?????????????
