• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Kind of a no brainer as all are start controls with pauses in lie of resets. 30 mph ...doubt it. Holy sh#t $145 for an entry fee for a 90 mile enduro....not for me....even with a happy ending
 
you might as well add a 0 to that 30...cause it will seem like 300 mph average....

obvisously set your watch back the same amount of minutes of your row...row 15 set it back 15 minutes...

first you should be to mile 3 by 7:06..

the start control check they shouldnt let you thru until 7:26 or if your late whenever you get there...yhey are giving you 13 minutes of extra time...

you should be to mile 20.9 at 7:54...then you are getting 36 minute break...or 36 minutes to catch up...

and so on...

Joe and others thanks (no brainer I resemble that remark) Thats what I was telling all my crew. LA assumes(at 30 calculated avg most of us will be late).
Expensive yes but understandable, its a very hard event to put on, the club deals with special funding for property use rights (think what that is). And this last enduro was in 97 because of the effort in check personnel, costs and the logistics of getting check folks out to remote regions of Tecate mountains to put one on, they have done the close course multi lap HS type events through out the years. So for this event we all open the wallets and go for it. and it Depends where we stop on the way back......if a happy ending is in the cards. (jussst kiddding)
NE riders have done well with Kevin Hines winning 97 over a bunch of top tier west coasters and Nate Kanney winning one of the HS events as well. SE rider Bobbit is really the guy to beat for all the pros
 
Yeah Bobbit is fast. Got to meet him when he came and rode the "Watermelon 50", here in Alabama. It was a buddy race, his partner rode a 18 min loop, Bobbit rode it in 13 min, he just glides.
 
good luck beating Dick...I hope its easier than it was 20 yrs ago...actually the hardest part back then was the traffic...too many peopel stuck
