    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hi, think its time to introduce myself, Its Jimmy from the UKi have been reading the forums for about a week now, bought what i think is a 610 1993. I have always wanted an off road style bike. I got bored on waiting for my new bike to get delivered so went and go this.

I have had it a week and now have fully took it to pieces, the guy i bought it off said it needs piston and rings and ge could hear the piston slapping so never started it again. I want to do a full rebuild and check the gears aswell on it but have rounded a titanium nut off at the moment on the cam cover. Also i have never done anything like this before so it will be a steep learning curve but really want to learn how to do it myself!

I have looked everywere and just cannot find a workshop manual for free for a 1993 610, anyone got a link?
At some stage im gone powder coat the frame, swingarm and wheels black, since i have it apart also want to change all the wheel bearings etc.

Also where can i get a plastic set for it? Struggling again to find the correct ones!
Once i have done that i want to wire headlights, indicators and rear lights in, it has what looks like diy wiring on it at the moment just need to sort all that out at the end and then tax it and mot.
It came with supermoto tyres but once its done, will get some off road tyres aswell.

I have spoke to a guy at motosupplies who said he will rebuild it but i really want to have a go at it myself.

Finally, where can i get all the bits and bobs for the rebuild from? Rod, piston, bearings, gaskets etc?
