• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Headstock bearings

skid

Husqvarna
A Class
08 cr 125 ...
these apparently are on back order. My local guy has a call into husky regarding estimated time of arrival. tried two bearing shops both said it was an uncommon bearing try dealer. Hall's is closed for inventory this week .. anyone know of a shop that might actually stock these. its an skf bearing and I googled the bearing numbers and only got foreign sites with funny languages I couldn't read.

Ive found the same thing - except my bearing shop guy called the Canada Husqvarna rep (not the motorcycle division - BMW) and told the numbers are in the system, but are specialty application and proprietory to motorcycles.
I think ALL BALLZ makes a kit https://www.allballsracing.com/index.php/

P.S. i had my frame painted and didnt remove the races, so i just polished them to reuse.

no headstock bearings on the all balls site

no go from the worldwide guys also ... woe is me!!

all balls did a a bearing kit for an 08 yammie 250 f though ....$37!!!

grrrr the price of having a sexy italian in the shed I guess

no luck .....its the same bearing across the entire line, but headstock bearing comes up on the all balls site for any husky.

The bearing that husky uses is proprietary according to my local bearing supplier. I gave him a stock bearing and asked him to find some and he couldn't. That being said motosportz has lots of them in stock. Shoot me a PM if you come up empty and we can help. Mike.

man thats low ...
evidently there is a difference in the bearings between the mx and enduro bikes. Cr and Tc use a 50mm bearing, te and wr use a 48. all kinds of stuff for wr and te's, nothing for the cr or tc. To add insult to injury .. the wr and te bearings cross ref to about 30 yrs worth of harley davidsons. For a brief moment I thought I was going to be able to hit up the local hd dealer for some bearings.

damn wish I saw that post before I spent all that time going over parts fiches and the all balls site.
